Indoor Bonsai Tree - Better living
Hi there,
The Bonsai Tree is an
ancient Japanese art form of growing miniature trees. Though
it is called a Bonsai Tree, nearly any type of shrub or tree
can be appropriate for an Indoor Bonsai Tree.
The art of growing these trees is thought to have originated
in ancient China, where men who were healers would grow
plants for medicinal purposes. In early times the main
purpose was to display trunks in the shape of animals and
mystic figures. Somewhere between the 7th and 9th century,
this art form was introduced to the Japanese culture.
There are many types of
Bonsai Trees, including formal and informal upright,
cascade, raft, literati, semi-cascade and forest. The indoor
Bonsai Tree is available at a range of nurseries in various
stages of growth, from seedlings to the fully mature indoor
Bonsai Tree.
Indoor Bonsai Tree -
Different Kinds
There are some species that
are easier to grow for beginners than others. Here area a
few different types of Indoor Bonsai Trees.
The Elm species are usually easy to start with. They grow
easily and in many different types of soil. The Cedar Elm is
a great choice for a Bonsai Tree; they are hardy and easily
obtained.
The Zelcova and Chinese Elm are the two species you are
liable to see the most of from Bonsai Tree suppliers. Both
of these types of trees are superb choices, though the
Chinese Elm is normally not as resilient when it is cold. It
may be best to start with the type of Bonsai Tree that grows
best in your climate.
There are many aspects of
growing the Indoor Bonsai Tree to learn, such as when and
how to trim it, how much water the tree needs, as well as
what temperature is best to keep your Bonsai Tree healthy.
Once you have been
successful at growing an Indoor Bonsai Tree, you will be
addicted. Nothing is quite as satisfying as having grown and
cared for your own Bonsai Trees.
